PROJECT ABOUT THE FUTURE Festina Gashi, 7. c

Today I'll present my thoughts about the future. I'm not sure Adna Husić, 7. c
about my future yet. In approximately 10 years, I will finish my 143
studies to become a doctor. Perhaps, I will specialize in the area of
the human mind. I will live in a voice-controlled house with a solar
heated pool in the suburbs of Maribor. I will have 1 or 2 children and
a pet. I think we are in the middle of the technological revolution.
The world is changing rapidly. Artificial intelligence is everywhere
and it is getting more and more sophisticated.

In the area of the environment, the climate is getting warmer. We
are lacking resources. In time, solar and atomic energy will replace
fossil fuels. We will send the atomic waste into space with rockets.
If we don't act fast, some species will become extinct.

My father has a lot to say about the future transport. He thinks we
will have self-driving cars, soon. We will only say the destination to
them. Because of the overpopulation, we will travel underground and
above the ground. All the vehicles will reach high speed. We will be
able to travel around the globe in just a few hours.

In the area of medicine, my aunt says medicine will develop a lot.
People will live longer and the problem of the overpopulation will
increase. My aunt also hopes cancer will be curable. She also believes
we will be able to live with transplanted artificial organs. I think
everybody will wear a lens in the eye, which will enable us to record
what we see, to zoom things and to have supervision.

We will face the most changes in the area of technology. My mum
thinks space travel will be something common. She says we will
