PROVISION OF INFORMATION
The provision of information is an integral part of the social programmes of the Association of Paraplegics. Its basic aim is to give information to its members, colleagues and also the general public - about the work of the organization, the regional branches, and current events.
THE PARAPLEGICS' MAGAZINE
The basic source of information is the "Paraplegic" magazine, with its special sections: Legal news, From our reporters' pages, New developments at home and abroad, Modern rehabilitation, Orthopedic and technical aids, Recreation and sport, On a visit to …, Women's and young people's activity, Cultural activity, Entertainment corner, Summaries from professional literature, seminars and symposiums, etc. In a popular style and with a variety of photographs it informs the readers of everything that is in any way connected with the life and work of paraplegics.
The 24-page magazine with its full-colour cover is issued quarterly. It is a very significant source of information, and at the same time a constant and firm bond between us on account of our limitation in movement. It is edited and designed by paraplegics themselves and thus is really warmly received by members. Every reader can find something for him/herself, and is also kept well informed.
The provision of information by the Association and its regional branches includes the publication of brochures, news bulletins, annals, etc. connected with important events.
The general public is informed about the work of the organization, sports and other events, and the life of paraplegics through the public media.
