Born in 1973 in Wuppertal, Germany. He studied Documentary Photography at University of Wales College Newport (1998 – 2001) and Fine Art / Photography from Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig (2001 – 2004) in the class of Prof. Tim Rautert, where he works as his assistant since 2004.
