MBK Team is a group of active meteor observers with special interests in comets, eclipses, aurora and the Sun. The Team consists of more than 10 members who are also members of Astronomical Society Orion from Maribor, Slovenia.

MBK Team was formed in July 1999 by Javor Kac, Jure Atanackov and Jure Zakrajsek, observers with experience going back to 1993-1995. We monitor major meteor showers as well as minor showers and sporadic activity, organize observing campaigns and expeditions for major events such as meteor outbursts, bright comets and eclipses and monitor solar activity and possible mid-latitude auroral outbreaks.
