Solar Eclipse

On 4th of December total solar eclipse occured in the australian outback, about 500km northern of Adelaide. I went there with 3 Austrians, Angelika, Stefan and David. We found a perfect spot and had a great time!

Special sign at the eclipse path

And pedestrians on the road. In the middle of the desert. Cool!

This is our viewing spot under bridge of ex railroad. So, from the right: David, Stefan, Angelika and me. Taken by David

Us watching. Picture was taken by David

Me observing the sun. (taken by David)

Few moments before eclipse. Light is getting weaker, shadows stronger. Also taken by David.

And the eclipse. Click to view short animation.

Camel on way back. I came to close, so I had to run before camel, as it attacked me.
