Currently works as microscopyst in SEM-EDS and XRD Laboratory in company Metal Ravne d.o.o. in Slovenia (Europe). Metal Ravne company is a leading manufacturer of tool steels, stainless steel, and other specialty steelsin the world. In the company is responsible for SEM microscopy and EDS (EDX) microanalysis, XRD analysis, failure analysis, sample preparation, image analysis, computer programming, lab service. He is also the author of Etchants Database, Database of Steel Transformation Diagrams, Atlas of Defects on Steel Rolls and Microscopy Vendors Database. Born in 1956, he holds B.Sc, M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Metallurgy, all University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
