Pri
hajam iz Latvia! We are from Engure Secondary school students
of 7a. class. Engure is a small fishermen's village on the
coast of the Baltic
sea. That is about 100 km from Latvian capital city Riga. We
take part in
project "Spring Day in Europe". Our chosen country
is Slovenia. We know
quite a lot already, but we have some questions. We hope that
You can help us. We would like have pictures and information

Location
in Europe: Slovenia is in Central Europe - Mediterranean
Europe. It's are is 20.273 km2. It's highest peak is Triglav
(2864). It has 46.6 km of Adriatic coastline. It has a
population of about 2.000.000 people. It borders with
Austria, Croatia, Hungary and Italy.
Protected areas are Ttriglav National Park Skocjan

climate is Alpine in north-west Slovenia,
continental in central Slovenia and sub-Mediterranean
in south-west Slovenia (coastline)
