Each year, more than 400 people are hard at work in helping to organize one of the most important events of the Ski Flying World Cup. Despite a modern snow groomer, the ski flying hill is still prepared manually, by workers who groom the steep slope using their skis. As a reward, before the start of the competition, the bravest of them get to ski down the landing carrying national flags.
