Introduction |
It was possible to examine the region of the river Lahinja before the
river was to be regulated. The results showed that the region should be
secured as a nature park. After two years of adjusting the wishes and needs
of the owners the City Council of the Črnomelj community in 1988 finally
declared the Lahinja nature park.
