The Soca river with its emerald green colour that Slovenian Poet Simon Gregorcic named “the daughter of Mountains” offers you plenty of pleasant experience. You can sunbathe at its sandy beaches or swim in its crystal clear waters. The river is suitable for fishing or can be enjoyed when just listening to it while reading a book. The Soca trout originates from the river and it is always a great catch for the fishermen.

If you love mountains our village is a perfect starting point for short or long mountain trips. When choosing destinations we can offer suitable advice since we climb the peaks ourselves from time to time. One can find nothing but peace and quiet at the top.

Region Tolminsko is attractive for all those people who enjoy adrenalin sports. You can paraglide from  Kobala (1080 m) and see the whole Tolmin valley from above. The Soca valley is a pearl within the Julian Alps. You can row the river with a raft, kayak, canoe or hydrospeed. For those with a high adrenalin level canyoning and jumping the white water waterfalls is best. Take the bike and discover the hidden Tolminsko places.

If you decide to visit us when hill peaks are still covered with snow we can suggest two beautiful ski resorts, which are only one hour away from our apartment. These are Crni vrh above Cerkno and the CLOSED mountain ski resort Kanin above Bovec. Due to its closure one can ski only "off-piste" on it's own risk. It is here where the snow remains the longest due to high altitude, one can ski up to late spring.
