Cultural treasury of Europe
The basic idea of the project Cultural treasury of Europe is that students present cultural wealth of their country (by doing so they are becoming aware of their own country and culture and they are getting to know it better). They also become better acquainted with other cultures within the common European country. Due to this exchange they develop positive self-esteem, respect of differences, tolerance and co-operation.
We believe that the students become very aware of their national identity when they want to present their country and culture to someone else. This is why this is a valuable contribution to Civil Education.
On the website of the project there will be a collection of articles, which will help us to get to know each other better, find similarities and differences. We will also be able to visit each other.
At the same time each participant can contribute to better recognition of their country within the broader community.
