She is a British fashion
designer, one of the many designers who took credit for inventing the
miniskirt and hot pants. Born to Welsh parents, Quant went to Blackheath
High School then studied illustration at Goldsmiths College before taking a
career with a couture milliner. She is also famed for her work on pop art in
fashion.

Albanian drama, who played in more than 180 roles, testified her talent of a
great actress in shows such as: Erveheja, Hanka, Othello, etc. She was the
first meritorius woman who remains as an eternal symbol of great Albanian

Virginia 1882 - 1973
Portuguese
journalist, distinguished herself through her political and social
reportings, namely in the newspapers O Século and in A Capital, as well as
in Brazil. She was one of the first women to get a degree from the Faculty
of Arts of the Lisbon University. She was awarded the Order of St. James, (Ordem
de Santiago) for outstanding services to the country during the Great War.

QUEIROZ Rachel de 17.11.1910 – 4.11.2003
She was a Brazilian author
and journalist.
She began her career in journalism in 1927 under the pen name "Rita de
Queiroz". She entered national spotlight with the unexpected success of her
debut novel O Quinze in 1930. She published other three novels before
moving to Rio, in 1939. In 1964 she became Brazil's representative to the UN
and in 1977 she became the first woman writer to enter the Academia
Brasileira de Letras. She won the Camões Prize (1993) and the Prêmio Jabuti.
