E-MAIL MESSAGE

Hello,
thank you very much for your introductions. They're so interesting that I'll keep them in a special folder. Have you got a special folder for English, too? Nice.

Anica, happy birthday. Have a nice party. I hope you'll get my greeting card. I'm not good at drawing, you know, but you can find greeting cards at these addresses:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now back to our work:

1. Do you like animals? I like most of the animals.

-Look at the life expectancy chart on page 61 in your books.
-Do you know all the animals?
-Who lives longer a horse or a cat?  Look: a cat can live for 13 to 17 years and a horse lives for 30 years. So a horse lives longer. (živi dlje casa)

Is this true or false: (res ali ne)
A raven lives longer than a tortoise.
A pelican lives longer than a lion.
A sheep lives longer than a snake.

Compare more animals, write five sentences about them and send them to me, please. This time only to me: romana.ivacic@guest.arnes.si     .

2. I've got a cat, remember. Her name's Muci and she's two years old. Her hair is white and grey. She's got a beautiful long tail and cute small ears. She sleeps in her little bed in our living room. She eats cat food and likes milk very much. She can jump very high.
What's your pet's name? How old is he/she? What colour is he/she? Where does he/she sleep? What does he/she eat and drink? What can he/she do?

-Now write about your pet.
-Send the text  to  group6@dl.distance so that everybody can read it.
-Read your classmates' descriptions and ask them about their pets. Tell me what you have found out.

Enjoy the week,

Romana Ivacic
