We cordially invite you to the 27th International Scientific Meeting on Vacuum Science and Technique organized by Slovenian Society for Vacuum Technique in collaboration with Croatian vacuum society. The meeting will be held in “Šport hotel”, Goreljek 103, 4247 Zgornje Gorje, Slovenia, from 21–22 May 2020. Šport hotel (https://sporthotel.si/) is located on Pokljuka Plateau, in the heart of the Triglav National Park amid large forests and high mountains, and about a 20-minute drive from Bled (https://bohinj.si/en/attractions/pokljuka/).

The main aim of the conference is to bring together researchers, engineers, technicians and other experts to share their knowledge on the recent developments in the field of vacuum science and technology and related areas such as plasma science and technology, thin films and coatings, surface science, vacuum metallurgy, biointerfaces, and nanoscience.

Registration and abstract submission
All conference talks will be given by invited speakers selected by the International Program Committee. The length of the talk is 20 min. All other attendees will have a poster presentation. The official language of the conference is English, Slovenian or Croatian.

Please register by submitting an abstract till 8 April 2020 using the following template LINK. Abstracts should be sent to alenka.vesel@ijs.si. For organizational reasons, please indicate in your email with whom you will share your room in the case of the selection of a double room.

Conference fee:
– exhibitors 450 EUR
– regular two-day registration fee 150 EUR (single room) or 110 EUR (double room)
– one-day registration fee 70 EUR.

The registration fee can be paid only by bank transfer (no cash payment at the conference). The two-day fee covers conference material, accommodation for one night, breakfast, two lunches, dinner, coffee breaks, and refreshment drinks during the poster session.
