INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE BELGIUM – SLOVENIA [COMENIUS]
Ten Slovenian students that visited Belgium in September 2006 had the pleasure of hosting our partners from the 9th to the 15th of April 2007. While there were many students in Belgium, this time we had the chance to really know each other and do some interesting workshops and to show our friends a few sight-seeing spots in Slovenia. Because participating in the Comenius project means being involved in many different projects about nature, we decided to present some interesting chemical experiments, like for example the chemical garden, and Ljubljana’s botanical garden. We also went on two trips around Slovenia. Since the main theme of our exchange were alternative energy sources, we visited Nanos, a plateau in Primorje, where we talked about natural sources of energy in Slovenia and in Belgium and made some plans for our Friday’s debate. Our second trip was to Primorje, where we visited Postojna cave, Piran and a farm nearby. All this work of course did not stop us from having fun; we went out at night and we worked during daylight. Once again meeting new people and experiencing a new culture made a big impression on us and left us with great memories and friends forever. |
