FAMUL STUART INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION
OF STUDENTS OF EUROPEAN ART SCHOOLS

In May 2004 Slovenia is becoming a member state of EU. To mark this turning point in our history Galerija GT and FAMUL STUART are preparing a special addition to its regularly year exhibition in Fužine Castle in which artworks of students of art schools from different EU member states and joining countries will be presented. Entries of any theme / style are welcome, but participants should manifest both conceptual and practical forms in their submissions. The presentation is not limited on any field of art, but the works must be submitted in the format appropriate for screenings. At the end of exhibiting Art works will be presented… After the presentation in Fuzine Castle the exhibition will be further presented trough different Art organizations in Slovenia.

Conditions of participation:

ENTRIES:
No entry fees.
Works of current art students and art students that have graduated in years 2003 and 2004 are welcome.

DATES:
Deadline for application and material:
By post: April 26th 2004.
Personal or fast mail delivery: May 4th 2004
Authors of selected works for exhibition and projections will be informed till May 20th 2004 by email.
First screening of works will take place on the 28th May 2004 at Fuzine Castle, Ljubljana.
The exhibition will be touring Slovenia for one year.

CATEGORIES:
Applicants can submit their work in requested formats in the following categories:
A. DIGITAL MEDIA WORKS (video, short films, animations, net art (on CDR), computer games…) - no longer than 10 minutes (exceptions for longer works will be treated specially)
B. WORKS PRESENTED ON DIGITAL MEDIA (sculpture, installations, ceramics, interior design ...)
- no more than 15 slides, no longer than 5 minutes
