The subject of the exhibition of Domestic Research Society was the metal wall spider, an ornament that has been adorning the walls od Slovenian homes for almost 60 years, in the meantime becoming so commonplace that it gets overlooked even by its owners and their neighbours. The geographical, technological and design characteristics of this unique Slovenian house ornament were presented, including several examples, originating from Kropa, Baška grapa, Celje, Rogaška Slatina and Ljubljana.
