"Also when working with other media (even with music - when considering the matrix and the repetition) the graphic outlook has, together with the photographical one, almost always been starting point of my work. I consider classical graphics to be an intimate record and am in point of fact, next to the reproductive nature as an equal contrast to the intimacy of a technique, most interested in mediating these small (and for someone so important) messages.

Graphics as a means of expression has been sociably comprehensible throughout the history. Its role in the interconnection of art and of all-embracing grasping of the public in a social and artistic sense is in my opinion of great importance. Graphic arts can in larger editions appear anywhere at any time and have a deep impact on the artistic and all-embracing perception of contemporary world."
