Sound paintings

"...As many artists before him, Sašo Vrabič also uses the techique of sampling in an artistic way and audience has also been used through TV commercials and music videos; besides private images, he also integrates his own enthusiasm into the anonymous flow of visual information. Thus it is no wonder that the electric music he made for his samplings has also become "exemplary" in art, similarly to his Sound Paintings, where different casually found elements formulate one new unity. During this medial game, paintings also appear as autobiographical signs or fractures; they, however, do not represent a more private or essential sphere but rather just a media from all the others..."
