Meaning of astronomical observation.

Astronomers have already found  2225 astronomical bodies, which are dangerous for the Earth. This  bodies cross the Earth's rail-orbit. The size of these bodies is estimated between 10 meters and 30 kilometers. Of course the number of such bodies is large - about a million. We can't perceive all of them as result of light pollution. Only 300 such bodies are well know to us, which means, that we know their physical characteristics. The newest researches say, that  there are about a thousand asteroids with the diameter of about kilometer, which are dangerous for us.
What does it mean, if we notice such asteroid too late? When it already come towards our planet. The consequences would be devastating. If we noticed it in the time there is  possibility for our planet to be saved.  Landing of such object  on our planet would threaten the whole Earth.
What will occur with the Earth in the future? Specialists predict a very bad future. Danger from space is not the only danger threatening us. People are dangerous to ourselves. We treat our planet Earth, as we got it for destruction. What will happen to  humankind, when the black scripts scenario realizes? Where will we move, when life on our planet is no longer be possible?
Astronomical observations are of great importance. Groups of  specialist have been trying to find a  proper location, for the humankind to move for a long time. With light pollution we  make this impossible.

On February 2003, astronomers from the Havaiian University found  seven new moons of planet Jupiter. This giant has 47 moons, which rotate around the planet.  Such discoveries require telescopes, whose mirrors are larger than 8 meters. This is impossible to notice with smaller telescopes, because the light pollution is large althought, this are the bodies, which are very near us in comparison with majority of remaining astronomical bodies.

We also hear  a lot about black holes, which aren't visual. They are practically invisible. We established their existence from changes, that occurred in space. Astronomical observations of this phenomenon mean a lot for our existence.

The meaning of searching planets
At astronomical observations have very large meaning in detecting and search of other planets. The question about our unigueness has been stiring us human imagination  for years. Are we alone in this vast space? Until today we haven't come to a precise answer. With problem of light pollution we make ourselves impossible, to come to on end with this eternal riddle. The fact which is interesting and at the same time tragic, that we have better optical and telescopic devices every day. We close ourselves the view to space with incorrect light.
Beside Sun or a similar star and at least approximate conditions, as we have them on Earth, a planet is also necessary in our space for normal life. Of long ago only nine planets were known. This are planets of our Solar system. It was known very early that there's no life on them. Lately more and more is spoken about planets outside our Solar system. The discovery of these planets doesn't mean, that we'll find  life on them. There is possibility, that there are other worlds and planets where life exists or we would find suitable conditions  for life.
