Let's begin with the Connect to Remote Host dialog.

If the Connect to Remote Host dialog is not already open on top of the WS_FTP Pro window, click the Connect button to open it.

This dialog is used to create, organize, and edit your site profiles and the folders you use to store them in. It is also one of the many ways to use those site profiles to connect to the FTP sites described in the profiles.

  • Select one of the site profiles in the Sites list.
  • Now, click the Edit button to the right of the list.
Notice that there are four tabs across the top of the Site Option dialog. Each of thes tabs hold options and settings you can choose to have WS_FTP Pro use when connecting to the site you have chosen.
