The ECO-project in the year 2003/2004

In the present school year we are continuing with the following activities, which were planed last year, when we first joined the Slovenian ECO-school- network. The important and also interesting theme about energy and botanic world was added to our program. In the project - Energy the following topics were explored:

• wind energy, economizing energy
• water energy and economizing
• consumers of energy
• the sun- source of energy
• the influence of light in the households
• a tidy environment
• registration of water consuming
• the consume of water energy, electricity and fuel oil
• a wind generator as a source of energy
• the lost of thermal energy
• energy in the sense of art
• herbs
• plant cataloguing and registering

On the basis of our research we explored some important ways, how to economize energy. According to this, we created some symbolical etiquettes and stickers. The project- botanic world- helped us to arrange some beautiful herbal gardens, used for educational purposes. We marked tress, shrubs and flowers with their botanic names. Therefore, some of our lessons will be also performed and realized in nature.
