In September we were
in contact through Internet preparing suggestions for the questionnaire.
In October the project meeting took place in OŠ
Šenčur, Slovenia. The major task in our project meeting was creating
the questionnaire, which turned out to be a quite extensive one. It
includes 46 questions. In the first part of it there are questions
on media influences (press, TV, radio, internet) on students’ life,
their values and their knowledge about peoples rights and
responsibilities. The second part of the questionnaire aims at
measuring the level of democracy in students’ school and family
life.

The questionnaire has already been answered by our students
and is now in the process of evaluation on national levels. We are
very anxious for results on both levels - national and
international.
We visited
Pedagogical faculty in Ljubljana during project meeting where a
presentation on University of Ljubljana and our school system took
place.

The meeting was organised by Mr Stojan Kostanjevec from the
Home economics department at the Pedagogical faculty.

The meeting in
Slovenia was also a unique opportunity to get acquainted with
Slovenian national and cultural heritage and people as well.
Therefore the excursions to Bled, Postojna cave, Piran, the capital
Ljubljana with the castle, Kranj and Škofja Loka were organised.

On next project
meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania in April 2005 the research comparison
and evaluation on international level will be the major task. There
will be two students from each country participating on our meeting
as they were in Šenčur, Slovenia.
After getting the
final results the press conference will be organised to disseminate
results and Comenius school project Building bridges, active
citizenship in Europe.
