Akantown was not a happy place, because most of the people were poor and they didn't have good houses. Kumalo was one of the poorest people in Akantown. He had no food and drink, so he went to the church to ask God for . It was Sunday and there were many people in the church. They were singing together. They passed a  around and the people put some money in it for the church. When Kumalo got the bag, he took the money, because he thought  gave him all that money to help him. Then he walked away. But soon the people came after him and wanted to stop the . Kumalo ran very fast and hid the money in the hole under a big . It  was in the garden of the Olusanya's  family, who found the money - fifty dollars and wanted to buy  with it. They thought their garden was . At the  Mr Ngwenya promised Mrs Olusanya to keep the money for her. He put it into the hole in the floor under a  box. But Kumalo kept his eyes on the money all the time  and took it from the hole. He ran away, but Mr Ngwenya and some other people wanted to catch him. So he threw the money high into the big, old . Under the tree there were James and Jenny, who were in love. James could not marry Jenny, because he didn't have enough  for the bride price. Jenny's uncle wanted one hundred dollars for beautiful Jenny, but James had only fifty-four dollars. Now fifty dollars fell from the tree and James had enough money. Again they thought that was a magic garden where the tree was and that God gave them the money. James gave the money to Jenny's  and the two could marry. Miriam, who had a bar, played cards with Jenny's uncle and he lost all the money for the bride price. Miriam had high  in her bag and she cheated playing cards. Kumalo saw this, took the money and ran to the church with it. There he explained everything, Jenny and James got 50 dollars and the church got 50 dollars as well.
