THE FINE ARTS Due to the increasing interest in the fine arts that has grown over the last couple of years among our members, it has become evident that more attention and support should be paid especially to those artists with major disabilities. Apart from the fact, that their methods of creating are different from those practiced by the able-bodied, their needs as regard education are also different and this is a problem which has not been solved so far. Hence, all our artists, with one exception, are amateurs, which does not mean that their works of art have been overlooked. Their pieces of art come from within, with great physical efforts due to their fondness for art. And, at the same time, they are as essential as the food and air. |
