FRUIT BREAD

Cook 1kg of dry pears and 3/4kg of dry cherris. Rinse them, remove the kernels and cut them to straps. Cut also 1/2kg of figs, add 1kg of washed raisins (remove the kernels), 30dag of almonds peeled and cut to straps, 1/4kg of walnuts which you peel and cut to pieces, two chopped lemon peels and three orange peels, cinammon, ground cloves, 8 spoonfuls of any kind of liqueur and 10 spoons of rum. Mix everything together and let it rest over the night. The next day make the dough from 1kg of flour (see
pletenica). Let it rise. Take one half of the dough and mix in the fruit! Take the other half and spread it. Now put it around the "fruit dough" so it doesn't crack in the owen. Let it rise. Bake it twice as much you would an ordinary bread.
