A Spring Day activity for children from 6 - 9 years of age.

How much do the young children of today know about Values in this world full of crime, prejudice, hatred? How much of our time do we offer them to put them on the right path?

As a Spring Day activity have a discussion with the little ones about life's values. Then let them choose one of the values and draw it the way they see it. You can display their artwork in the school and choose one or two of the best ones. Scan them and send them in jpg or gif format (size: 7x5cm) along with just the first name of the pupil, the name of the school and country to my e-address magdalena.bobek@guest.arnes.si I will put them on this webpage for Spring Day.
On Spring Day we will put the names of the pupils into a hat and draw from it names of two participants - one from Slovenia and one from another European country. The winners will receive something nice to make their Spring Day a sweet surprise.

On 23rd March, 2004 our Spring Day guests, two Slovenian national handball players, Ognjen Backovic and Dusan Podpecan picked two winners from our VALUES project competition.
They are Ianina, Primary School 'Petko Slaveykov' Yambol, Bulgaria
Špela, Osnovna sola Pivka, Slovenia.
Each received a book about Slovenia and a Dominos game to play in their free time.

Thank you all for participating in the project. There were 50 pupils from 7 countries.
