Human beings used wood - as a natural and also the oldest primary material for making different kinds of products. First people used wood because, there was a lot of it in the nature, and it was easy to handle with simple (stone) tools.

There is a special habit in Netherlands and Denmark to wear wooden shoes.

We even make paper from wood.
