SHORT DESCRIBTION:

“Hysteria is a conception which we usually connect with its individualistic behaviour, but it might also be recognized in various segments of society. By the end of the 19th century it was modern to “possess hysteria”, which is nowadays perceived by sociologists and anthropologists as ethnic disturbance. Hysteria was in the 20th century described as explicit individualistic phenomenon. The 21st century is a time when we can debate about hysterical responses on diverse areas of social life.”
