The collection of works of art by Fran Berneker (1874 - 1932) comprises 14 statues in bronze and extensive documentary material.
Fran Berneker was born in 1874, at Gradišče near Slovenj Gradec. His artistic path led him from Koroška to Salzburg, and from there to Innsbruck in the Tyrol. He attended the school of applied art in Graz and in 1897, was admitted to the Vienna Academy. He was a member of the Sava art club. He settled in Ljubljana in 1918, where he died in 1932. The collection includes 14 bronze statues.
