Windfall are Jeff Terranova from Up Front and Jon "Biv" Biviano from Supertouch on guitars, Jen Catucci on vocals, Rob McDonough on drums, and Chris Wallin on bass. Jen Catucci's unique blend of singing and screaming hits you like a ton of bricks while the moody ups and downs of her melodies keep you guessing as to what's coming next. Great catchy vocal lines textured over a melodic yet heavy post hardcore sound puts Windfall in a class of their own. Take all the passion and energy of an underground hardcore/punk band, add melody, structure, great musicianship and a slight Celtic vibe that leaves you smiling and you get Windfall. For those who might not be familiar with the history of Up Front or Supertouch, here it is. Both bands were formed in the mid-late 80's. Up Front from upstate NY and Supertouch from NYC. Up Front has recorded numerous releases throughout the years and developed a huge fanbase worldwide within the hardcore music scene. 3 European tours, 2 US tours, a tour of Japan, and sales of over 30,000 combined units keep Up Front a standing staple in the hardcore community. With the band no longer able to keep it together, Jeff sought out his old friend Jon from Supertouch, (who also toured the US and Europe twice and whose 1990 debut lp/cd on Revelation Records has sold well over 30,000 copies) to join Windfall. The chemistry was unbelievable between the 5 members and Smorgasbord jumped at the chance to release their debut cd/ep. This band is a force to be reckoned with and destined to take the music scene by storm.
They liked it so much here that they decided to stay a few more days and do one more show, so they performed here on 15.11.2000 and 17.11.2000!
