The pupils started the day in their home-room classes, where they exchanged some ideas with their home-room teachers about the origin of the European Unoin. The teachers also prepared them for the ringing of the peace bell, which is rung every year on this day at 10:00 , followed by a minute's silence to remind us of the less fortunate children in the world. This also marks the official beginning of the Spring Day activities at the school.
The workshops that were prepared for this year were very interesting. Younger pupils made more rag dolls for their friends in Africa. Since it was Easter Friday, they got to know how other Europeans celebrate Easter and made Easter cards, drawings and Easter eggs to take home to their families.
