We began the school year with a renewal of the penfriend activity. Pupils continued writing to their friends by post and the younger pupils sent a few class letters as well. There was a great increase in the use of e-mail. Some pupils do not have the internet at home and so made use of the school computer in the library. Whenever they had time, they would come into the library and write their penfriends a short note on the computer or they would come in to see if they had received any mail.
