E-Twinning is
a fun and easy way of learning about each other's cultures,
traditions and ways of life. E-Twinning projects are a rich
addition in any school curriculum, because they can be incorporated
into lessons and make learning in any field not only educational,
but also challenging.
Clocks of Europe started as a Spring Day 2005 workshop activity.
Curiosity has always been a very strong characteristic in
young people. So, we decided to take it one step further.
Pupils from Osnovna šola Pivka twinned up with IIS Carlo Urbani
Rome-Italy from Italy and together with prof. Noemi Lusi and
her students exchanged information in order to learn more
about one another. One idea led to another and suddenly we
had two websites which are linked by clicking on the clocks.
If you would like to contribute to the project, please send
us some famous clocks in your country and we will add them
to the site.
