Ten years ago there was a school logo chosen by competition. Many different proposals were made by students and other persons. Finally it was chosen the former logo of the Solkan local community, while they chose new one which celebrates the year 1001 when the town Solkan was first mentioned in written sources.

Our school logo presents the symbol of our town, that is the stone giant  expanding across the river Soča. The giant is a symbol of transition and overcoming of the barriers that students have on their way to knowledge.  While the river Soča  symbolises beauty, liveliness, movement and a strong link to the rest of the world.
