 Solkan
Primary School is known for its famous choire singing. That proves the 24-year long
tradition of Children's and Youth Choirs conducted by Jožica Golob.
 Children's Choir includes
the children from 7-11 and Youth Choir the students from 12-15 years old. There are about
eighty members in both choirs.
 They took part in:
- the Children's and Youth Choir Competition in Nova Gorica,
- the final competition called Our Spring,
- the state competiton in Zagorje,
- the International Youth Competitions in Part (3rd
place), Monfalcone, Trieste and Gorizia in Italy.
Their songs were on TV Ljubljana and Radio Koper Capodistria.
The choirs appear on stage in all school and other performances
and they prepare their taditional Christmas-New Year's Concert every year.
Their classmates, parents and all the choire singing fans like to
listen to their songs.
