 I began to work at Solkan
Primary School ten years ago. Everything was new to me: school, collegues and pupils., I
can well remember my pupils: Kaja, Mojca,Tina, Kristjan, Borut and Gregor. Their eyes
sparkled when I suggested to prepare a school play. That was the beginning. We played it
for our classmates, for the handicapped children in Vipava and Youth Club in Nova Gorica.
Our enthusiasm was contagious.
The following year was even more
successful. We had several performances in our school, at the Police Station in Nova
Gorica, at the paediatric department of Šempeter Hospital and the Hospital of Stara Gora.
 When
they were in the eighth class, we were a good team and they were a strong cast. They
wanted to prepare a play with the witch who couldn't be wicked. And we did it. The play
was super and it was eleven times on stage. That year we took part at the Meeting of young
actors in Nova Gorica.
After that there was a pause in that
area because of my health problems.
In the year 1994/95 I began with a new group
of young actors. We performed several times and we appeared at the Meeting again. And we
went on and on.
We joined acting and playing musical
instruments. The performances and the Meeting followed.
Last year we rehearsed a new play. We acted six times in our
school, at the Meeting in Nova  Gorica and the State Meeting of Young Actors in Vrhnika. The play was
even shot for the local television TV Primorka.
In this school year I started with the fifteen new actors again.
What am I going to say at the end? I
like to work with children, I enjoy their company and I learn from them. Therefore I
respect them a lot.
