on Participation in the Project "Multilingual Dictionary of Librarianship"NATIONAL COORDINATOR FOR THE ______________________________________ LANGUAGE:

SUBJECT OF AGREEMENT:
I
The National Coordinator undertakes to execute the _______________ language part of the Principal's project entitled "Multilingual Dictionary of Librarianship" (hereinafter: "Dictionary"), which includes:

The National Coordinator shall be solely responsible for settling all issues with the authors of materials in accordance with this Agreement.DEADLINES AND HANDOVER OF MATERIALS
III
The deadline for the handover of materials to the Project Head is 6 months after receipt of the initial materials in the English language.FORM OF MATERIALS
IV
The National Coordinator shall deliver the materials under this Agreement in the electronic form specified by the Project Head.REMUNERATION
V
No remuneration or any other fee shall be paid to the authors by the Principal.All issues in connection with remuneration shall be agreed and settled directly between the authors and the National Coordinator.
DEFAULT
VI
If the National Coordinator is delayed in the handover of materials by more than 3 months or if the materials submitted are incomplete or in any other way inadequate, the Principal may terminate this Agreement.In the cases specified in the previous paragraph, all copyrights, as specified in item VI of this Agreement, to the materials handed over up to the termination date shall be vested in the Principal without any time or territorial limitations.
COPYRIGHTS
VII
The Principal's copyrights to the materials shall include, without time or territorial limitations, the following exclusive rights:
The Principal may assign, unconditionally and without limitations, any and all of the above-mentioned material copyrights to a third party without the consent of the authors and without obligation to pay any compensation to authors.
The Principal shall include the statement of the National Coordinator's role in all editions of the Dictionary.
VIII
The authors nominated by the National Coordinator shall have the right, not subject to any time or territorial limitations, of exploitation of their materials (i.e. the English- __________________ segment of the Dictionary).The authors shall include in each issue the remark that the materials form part of the Principal's project and shall make full reference to the bibliographic source.
The authors may transfer their rights to third parties without limitations, provided full reference is made in all issues of the materials to the Principal's project and the bibliographic source.
FINAL PROVISIONS
IX
If at least 1/3 of the languages foreseen in the preparation and harmonisation of specific language versions of terms do not join the project by 31 December, 1998, this Agreement shall cease to have effect.The Principal shall promptly notify the National Coordinators of the occurrence of such circumstances in writing, and the obligations under this Agreement shall cease to be binding for the contracting parties.

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, and any disputes in connection therewith shall be settled by the competent court in Ljubljana.

This Agreement is written in 2 identical copies, of which each contracting party receives one copy.

SUBJECT
I
The subject of this Agreement is the preparation and harmonisation of terms in the _________________ language for the Principal's project entitled "Multilingual Dictionary of Librarianship" (hereinafter: "Dictionary").DEADLINES AND HANDOVER OF MATERIALS

The Author shall perform his/her services according to the instructions, schedule, deadlines and within the scope determined by the Project Head, Mr. Ivan Kanič, and shall complete the work and hand it over to the Project Head not later than 6 months after receipt of the initial materials in the English language.FORM OF MATERIALS
III
The Author shall hand over the materials in the electronic form specified by the Project Head.REMUNERATION
IV
No remuneration or any other fee shall be paid to the Author by the Principal.DEFAULT
V
If the Author is delayed in the handover of materials by more than half the term specified in item II or if the work is not performed in accordance with agreed quality standards or in the agreed scope or is in any other way inadequate, the Principal may terminate this Agreement.In the cases specified in the previous paragraph, all copyrights, as specified in item VI of this Agreement, to the materials handed over up to the termination date shall be vested in the Principal.
COPYRIGHTS
VI
The Principal's copyrights to the materials shall include, without time or territorial limitations, the following exclusive rights:The Principal may assign, unconditionally and without limitations, any and all of the above-mentioned material copyrights to a third party without the consent of the authors and without obligation to pay any compensation to authors.
The number of editions and copies of the Dictionary shall not be limited. The Author and his/her contribution are to be mentioned in each issue of the Dictionary.
VII
The Author shall have the right, not subject to any time or territorial limitations, to the following rights of his/her work (i.e. the English- ____________________ segment of the dictionary):The Author shall include in each issue the remark that the materials form part of the Principal's project and shall make full reference to the bibliographic source.
The Author may transfer his/her rights to a third party without limitations, provided full reference is made in all issues of the materials to the Principal's project and the bibliographic source.
