My Work

My professional work is mainly dedicated to software development, application of computer algorithms and numerical techniques, and advanced engineering applications.
I have started my R&D career on optimization of forming processes in C3M, where I have coordinated work on optimization in conjunction with finite element-based numerical simulation for several years. Within this scope I developed the optimization software Inverse.
Later I have worked in several companies and in diverse fields (e.g. electronics, business applications, geographic information systems, health, material technologies, etc.). My work included research & development, design of different kinds of software (scientific, technical and business), project and team leadership, HR management tasks, etc. Some R&D results are accessible on my document pages.
I have developed my own base library for development of complex technical and other applications (IGLib), which I have used in several applications developed either in the scope of my employment or within freelance projects.

Personal

What about my personal interests? There are many, but to mention some of them I should list traveling, hiking, cycling, mountaineering, water sports, nature, photography. Crazy about air sports; have tried gliding, hang-gliding, skydiving, but unfortunately I don't have enough time to really do all those things. From time to time, I really like to be lying on a nice beach and to read a good book.
