Lorenz-trio

Trio Lorenz consists of three brothers Lorenz: pianist Primoz (born in 1942), violinist Tomaz (born in 1944) and violoncellist Matija (born in 1938). All of them graduated at the Akademy of Music in Ljubljana in 1966. They began, however, to play together already in 1954. After graduation and postgraduate studies (under prof. L. Pfeifer) they completed their master courses in Rome (at Accademia S. Cecilia) with prof. G. Agosti, in Siena (at Accademia Chigiana) with prof. S. Lorenzi and in Triest with the members of the famous "Trio di Trieste". Their repertoire consists of various works of different styles and they perform it by heart. They have received various prizes and praises for their high artistic achievements. They concertize in almost all European countries, in Asia, Africa and in both Americas.
