WHAT DO WE ACTUALLY DO?In short - J We take pleasure from everything
In long:
KWe perform in kindergartens, stores, theatres and halls, mainly in Slovenia. We act mainly in December because of Jack Frost, Santa Claus and Nicholas.
List of acts: Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Kekec and Pehta, Maisy Celebrates Her Birthday Today (after books from Lucy Cousins), Water Sprite, Experiencing with alive animals (all shows are in slovenian language, up to 60 children - see passage 4).
Pupils spend a morning lesson with us and their teachers. Program is adapted to curriculum. - Cultural event (45 min) is a show. It can be Cinderella, Snow White or Sleeping Beauty. In Snow White things get complicated because of ignorance of grammatical rules. This extra plot deepens the fairy tales story. There is an extra theme in Cinderella: knowledge of instruments and music. In Sleeping Beauty mathematics leads us through the story.

-quiz with a crossword - We project a crossword on a wall. Each class has its own colour and collects letters of their colour. We are all winners at the end, because their can be little fun without rivalry.
Pupils also spend a morning lesson with us and their teachers. Program is also adapted to curriculum. We talk about the program with a school representative. Through deep experiencing with help of art pupils unconsciously absorb, feel and get fond of contents in internal satisfaction of teachers and pupils.
Schedule:
-cultural event: fully artistic experience of performed texts from reading book, experienced music and dance (45 min)
-solving of entertaining tasks with their teachers (we can also help) (45 min)

-We stage an event and after it pupils write down: opinion poll , interview, letter, news, advertisement, article, on-the-spot report… For example: We perform a short sketch "Inquiry", then pupils make an opinion poll. What we stage depends on pupils age and their curriculum.
We can come to school, kindergarten or somewhere else. You can also visit anima
ls at our home on Vače. Program is suitable for all ages - it could be also useful for university studies.-Main theatrical presentation: with help of art experienced song, fable, animal dance, riddle. Animal is present during the performance (20 min). Spectators may change a part of their attitude towards animals.
Audience divides into three groups and each one is lead by one of actors, who presents them two animals and answers their questions. Pupils can also stroke animals- guided, but direct experienced connection wit an animal.(70 min)
- In kindergartens this is the end of event. In schools pupils solve written, entertaining tasks

- After quiz we available to spectators for questions or anything that interests them.
Children come to Vače and get know to territory around Geometrical Center of Slovenia while playing in nature.

llage of Vače, they meet an elf, with an Ilirian, plants and animals…Program is adapted to visitors which are interested in many things. They can see a play about creation of situla of Vače (45 min).
We can also prepare herdsmen games in nature and a finishing party with games at the end.

. Experienced tourist guiding around our territory. (for individuals, couples, small or large groups)After artistic introduction visitors get know to the sights of area ( Gods grave, flax drying house, situla of Vače, f
ossil sea shore, geometrical centre…) There are some surprises along the route - a fairy tale creature or a historical person, which performs its story.We have prepared fairy tale performances in which we all co-operate, funny guiding shepherds games and other things for grandpas and grandmas who would like to experience magic hours in centre of Slovenia wit their children and grandchildren
(children celebration, wedding, Abraham, program for pensioner, birthday…) If you would like to try with shepherd games, social games, if you want party with animations, if you would to sing songs along with guitar or see sketches and laugh, then our theatre is the right address. We can arrange any kind of show you wish. We like to party and we are very social.
The point of our activity is in spreading of innovative approach towards education : TO LEAD EDUCATIONAL UPBRINGING PROCESS WITH HELP OF ART, NATURE AND GAME WITH OUR OWN DEVOTED EXPERENCING.
With that we achieve that pupil and teacher do not feel violence and are in process of natural learning completely relaxed and feel love towards others. Pupil does not feel it was a lesson. He has deeply EXPERIENCED program and he will remember it longer.
On expert meetings we hold lectures and run workshops, where we demonstrate and analyse educational process with experiencing.
in masquerades, concerts of choirs with intermediate acts of prose and poetry, openings of exhibitions, congresses, celebrations, commemorations, acting in street theatre, participation in folklore events, radio and TV shows, fairs…
We have our own medieval theatre with medieval farces ( A Student on His Way to Paradise, Tinker, Doctor, Bucket); we have our own fortune-teller, who is so good, that people want to ask her about their lives, long after the games are officially closed. Still than you can hear bantering laugh of our court jester, who is also a member of our theatre.
In this theatre we have two groups: adults and children. Adult group cooperate in most of the celebrations in the village. We also travel around. Children group is very active from its beginning in 1992.
We think that this is our mission, our contribution to consciousness expansion, love and understanding on our planet.
Family Theatre Kolenc for Experience Art and Nature
. Vače is the place, where we live. The Situla of Vače is a symbol of slovenian people. Nearby there's Geometrical centre of Slovenia - GEOSS. What we're interested in is: art, theatre, learning with experience, teaching with connecting art and science, slovenian language, etnology, biology, learning in nature with a more gaming approach, dance, music, uprising and education without violence, songs of local and foreign poets. We love ourselves, guide you, Prešeren, life and our spiritual growth. For schools and kindergartens we prepare days of ( experience) nature and cultural days. With our sincere experience of art we animate (or activate) audience, so that they themselves become active creators of axperience. So they forget it's a lesson. By visiting learning trail they themselves explore cultural and natural sites, animals and plants. They put their findings in a crossword. When they finish the route, the puzzle is solved. Exercises are adapted to children degree of culture. We can also visit you with our animals or a performance, maybe quiz or funny exercises. You can see Vače like shepherds, or you can enjoy in performance about situla and things that happened on Vače about 300 years b.c………ADVENTURE WITH LIVE ANIMALS

- VačeNature itself is great teacher. But art is a tool which gives this teacher more power. Piece of nature – some animals - we can bring in to the classroom and we can make a memorable day for pupils. We want to create an experience (an adventure) in teaching process.
We will introduce you to our animals and they will fascinate you with there unique way of telling human race how to love this planet. We will show you: cricket, blackbeetle, toad, tree fog, terrapin, boa constrictor, grass snake, gerbil, European hedge hog.
We will demonstrate haw we create a natural science day and we like you to participate.
1. presentation of animals in artistic way – 15 min.
With poems, songs and fables we introduce each animal. Animals are live beings with soul. They don’t speak human language, so we translate there feelings through poems, songs,…
2. direct contact with animals – 60 min.
All members of the workshop will divide to 3 groups. Every group will come to know 1 animal at the time. After contacting and feeling animal for certain time the groups will change. So anyone come to know all animals. With each group there is an expert for the animal that is presented. In groups we will discuss about animals and answer on all questions about it.

On big screen we project crossword, which contains words about animals. Every group chooses her own questions (for example: 43 vertical, 12 horizontal,…). Leader of the game read question for this word. If the answer is correct, we write it in the crossword in the colour of the group (every group chooses it’s own colour in the beginning). At the end we will count letters of every colour and so we will measure our knowledge.
5. Giving presents:
If we want to play we need players. Our game is created in such a way, that at the end of it every group gets a present. Every participant is important link in the game. We don’t want to compare results, but just measure knowledge. Because of that, every group receives an equally present in the end of the game.

- VačeBest way to show what art really is, is through experience. We on the stage are not afraid to show emotions. Every poem, song, dance or theatre performance is pervade with feelings. We with our energy (mimic, gesture, voice) conjure up atmosphere. Every viewer become accustomed to the character in the play or to feelings in the poem.
We lead viewers through feelings. We always need suitable place to have such performance.

We have different performances adjusted to the age of a child. We’ll show you little part of each performance. Through story (Cinderella, Snow White) can children learn something about music, instruments, poetry,… Performance named “What is?” is for older children. Through it we revive different kinds of art (dance, music, poetry, theatre, …)

.workshopFUNY LESSEN IN NATURE

- Vače)If we wanted (in the past) to really experience nature learning trail, we needed a leader. He showed us nature and he drawled our attention to some different kinds of plants, trees, animals,… The problem is that children don’t wont to listen. They don’t wont just observe and listen. They wont to fill, to touch and smell things. They wont to explore nature.
We change all that.
Pupils form groups (2 to 4 pupils in one group). Group receive at the beginning of the road simple instruction with map. Before pupils go to experience nature learning trail, we solve some exercises together.
They carry with them:
Every group has a mission to solve exercises, with help of instruction and other things they have available. Every member of the group should have different task; one of them is looking in the map, other one is solving crossword, third one reads an instruction,… Together they experience, smell, taste, observe, ect. and solve all tasks.
Our exercises are surprising, and fun. At the end of Natural learning trail they win a recognition and a present (some fruit from this area). So the child can really experience nature.
This way of teaching natural science is something new. We are testing our natural learning tra
il in Vače and the response is very good. Also one student of biology wrote about efficiency of this approach in her diploma (Jana Sinreih, Odzivi učencev in učiteljev na sodobno obliko terenskega dela pri pouku biologije, Pedagoška fakulteta Ljubljana, 1997). We also help other schools to do such nature learning trails (Škofja Loka, Ponikva,…). For those, who want to build such tails them selves, we have a seminar within Društvo učiteljev biologije. Exercises for children are build in such a way that there are included all things that they come across, when they go along the trail.
