1984 -1992: primary school OŠ “Bratov Polančičev” in Maribor

1992 -1996: secondary school II. Gimnazija Maribor

1996-2000: Faculty of Economics and Business Maribor  (undergraduate programme International trade)

1999-2000: Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (JOSZEF Programm – Junge Ost- und Mitteleuropäische Studenten als Zukünftige erfolgreiche Führungskräfte)

2000-2003: Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor (postgraduate programme International economy, in april 2003 MSc. obtained)  

June 2005: successfully defended a PhD titled "Economic convergence of the EU member states from a point of view of economic-cultural orientations" (mentor prof. dr. Vito Bobek and co-mentor doc. dr. Milan Zver) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor (official promotion of new doctors of science on 5 October, 2005 at the UM)
