Wherever I am not Every day, from July 16th to August 12th 2000, a new image from another live web-camand a different place helped me outline a journey around Evrope. Writing greetings from places I haven't visited allowed me to walk on the border of two worlds. At the end, I sent a letter whit an explanation of my virtual travels.Four years later, my cousin Momo Lazetic from Belgrade, sent me a chart where he outlined my journey. >From: tanja <tanja.lazetic@guest.arnes.si> >Subject: Look at me! >Date: Sun, 13 Aug 2000 20:59:59 +0200 Hi, I am back in Ljubljana. Although I stayed here in the real world all the time, I travelled the virtual world of Europe. Every day a new image from another live web-cam and a different place helped me outline a journey, which I could travel in real life. Writing greetings from places I haven't visited allowed me to walk on the border of two worlds, places and 'lies', and I am telling you, it was fine, although I went nowhere. Why do we say we did not go anywhere when we actually want to say that we stayed at home? I invite you to look at all 28 days of my virtual travels "wherever I'm not'': http://www.2.arnes.si/~tlazet/wherever See you on next journey, Tanja Lazetic |
