Measurement of forces - LIFT AND DRAG

Model airplane's wing Clark Y in the measuring chamber. The wing is integrated into the console stirrup bracket. The holder of the model is secured to the force sensor.

It is possible to change the angle of the wings.

In wind tunnel can be measured two forces . The vertical component Fy represents the lift force or pressure (low pressure), a force component Fx represents the resistance force of the object (model) in a fluid (air).

Sensors mounted on only the frame with adjustable joints, which allow measuring a variety of shapes and sizes of test models.
 

The measured data are transferred to the table and representation graphical of physical quantities.
