Smuk is a 547 m high hill which rises above Semič. It is a pleasant trip point and a popular runway for gliding parachutists and hang-gliders. If the wind is favourable you can fly with a parachute or a hangglide very fast even above 1000 metres which also enables very long flights. On Smuk there are St. Lovrenc church and hunting cottage where you can get Bela krajina specialties. Besides there can accommodate 18 reveree at. The northern side at Smuk is surrounded with a forrest and southern with vineyards, which give genuine Bela krajina wine. |
