You can go to the foot of Velika Plešivica over Preložnik. There you can admire a wonderful chapel dedicated to the Mother of God (sculpture by Terak).

In less than half an hour you come to the top of Velika Plešivica. There is a church of St. Magdalen. It was built in the 12th century and rebuilt about 150 or 200 years ago.

The speciality of the south hillside of Velika Plešivica are little cottages, made of wood. They are called 'hisi' and 'šupe'. But they are disappearing very fast and are rebuilt into new, modern cottages.
