Comenius - Komensky Jan Amos (1592-1670)

Czech reformer, philosopher, pedagog and writer; as practical pedagog and writer of pedagogical works has interceded for school in mother tongue, for obviousness of lessons, with his ideas and work has created foundations for contemporary primary school. Work: "Didactica magna" ("Great didactic"), "Orbis pictus" ("World in pictures"). Great influence on growth of school in Europe.
