My name is Bruno. I live in Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenija, locator JN76WK.

I was already a radioamateur in february 1976. Since 1979 i'm almost exclusively CW OP.

 My first call was YU3XD, after S51XD and since 1994 S51M.

In the 70's, 80's, 90's until 2009 i was active from radio club, my activity with my own call was very rare. Even now isn't big because i have some other hobbies and interests.

My first transceiver was old TRIO TS 510 which came to me in poor condition. In 1998 i bought an ATLAS 350 XL and in the year 2008 new YAESU FT-950. My activity was mostly on 40 m band.

Since march 2018 i’m (again) totally inactive - very busy.

Unfortunately,  today we have too much short, only a few seconds long QSO’s without any content or even exclusively machine to machine QSO's (digital modes). It seems like the people and human creativity are not important anymore. This is not a progress, it's really very, very sad... Call CQ, don't be only the listener or 5 seconds QSO operator.

Radio telegraphy is the most elegant and exclusive communication mode in radioamateurs hobby.

I’m member of 19 international CW clubs: EHSC, SHSC, VHSC, HSC, HTC, A1C, ECWARC, MCWG, HACWG, UFT, ITC, RCWC, AGCW DL, 9ACWG, CTC, DTC, FISTS, SKCC, WRCWC.                        

And member of digimode clubs: EPC, TRC, DMC.
