The WWE Hall of Fame is a group of noteworthy former professional wrestlers and other performers and employees of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) during its existence. WWE management selected individuals to receive this honor annually from 1993-1996, and revived the practice in 2004 in honor of the company's 20th WrestleMania event. It was created in 1993 originally to honor André the Giant, who had died earlier that year.

At 7'4" and 500 pounds, Andre the Giant could have been famous for his size alone. His drive, talent and ambition, however, proved to be as big as Andre himself, and the wrestler became legendary for his achievements in and out of the ring.

Antonino Rocca (born Antonino Biasetton) was a professional wrestler from Argentina of Italian descent. He was an enormously popular "good guy" with both Italian-American and Hispanic audiences. He was known for his exceptional physique and conditioning and his love of opera. He was described as having an excellent - if untrained - singing voice

 

Big Cat" Ernie Ladd (born 1939) was an American college and professional football player and a professional wrestler.

 

George Steele, better known as George "The Animal" Steele, real name James Myers (b. April 16, 1937) is an American professional wrestler from Detroit, Michigan whose career lasted from the early 1960s until 1989 when he was forced to retire due to Crohn's disease, though he would make occasional wrestling appearances into the 1990s and 2000s.

Captain" Lou Albano (born July 29, 1933 in Carmel, New York) was a professional wrestler and one-time voice of the video game character Mario.

 

James Reiher (born 18th May, 1943) is a legendary professional wrestler, especially popular in the 1980s as "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka.

 

James Valen was a professional wrestler better known as Jimmy Valiant And Lucious Johnny Valiant, former pro-wrestler and WWE Hall of Fame inductee.
