The theme of this year’s automation fair was health and wellbeing robotics and technology. There were also some more traditional industrial robots and various companies from the robotics and automation field on display. Prizztech also presented several projects from the robotics and automation field under the common umbrella: technology suits you. One of the projects presented was the RAY project, that was presented by Mari Antikainen and Jaakko Niemelä.

The main topics of the meeting were: vocational and technical education system for the next ten years, excellence in vocational and technical education, schools as lifelong knowledge centres, adult educational accounts and artificial intelligence in education. On this occasion Mrs Adrijana Hodak presented RAY project and the results achieved. The meeting was also attended by a representative of the European Commission Mr Joao Santos, Assistant of the Director of Directorate for Vocational Education and Training in Brussels.

Representatives from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania listened to the Mr Špacapan explanation how project Ray has been implemented and the results of it.

The Ptuj School Center is already a long-standing partner of the ŠCNG within the Consortium of School Centres. We have presented the RAY project and the innovative model of work-based learning (WBL) that we develop within the project and the achieved results of the MIC in the school year 2018-2019.
